About the Post
We are looking to appoint a Trust 3rd Line IT Engineer to join Twynham Learning multi-academy trust. Working in our friendly, professional and welcoming Core Services (“Trust HQ”) department, you will be an integral member of our Trust IT Services team. This is senior technical role, responsible for delivering advanced support, leading technical escalations, and ensuring the stability and performance of critical IT systems across our eight schools. You will act as a technical authority and play a key role in maintaining and improving the organisation’s infrastructure and service delivery. The post is ideally suited to an individual with a passion for technology and continuous improvement, coupled with a commitment to delivering exceptional services to our schools and business areas.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:
- Assist with setting out our technology roadmap and managing IT change projects and refreshes
- Perform important IT maintenance responsibilities, including monitoring, cyber security, technical documentation, back-ups, resolution of help desk tickets and asset registers
- Working closely with other technical IT staff across our trust and providing training to improve knowledge and practice
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.

Who we are looking for
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have a strong technical IT background and skills, with experience of maintaining and improving infrastructure
- A good standard of secondary education with GCSEs in Maths and English, grade 4 (or grade C) and above or equivalent qualifications/grades and relevant IT qualifications/certifications
- A confident, collaborative approach – able to work independently and as part of a team
