Lead Practitioner - Allenbourn Middle School

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and suitably qualified colleague to join our strong senior leadership team as Lead Practitioner at Allenbourn Middle School. 

Actual Salary £57,478 - £63,381 Pay review pending

(Lead Practitioner Range LP5 to LP9)

This job is full time.

It is offered on a Permanent basis. 

Approximate start date: April 2027 or sooner.

The successful candidates' specific areas of responsibility will be determined on appointment. The ability to assume the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead or to lead in the following areas; teaching and learning, personal development including P.S.H.E or Key Stage 3 English are desirable but not essential.

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.

Keeping Children Safe in Education

The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who is not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
