Be the Heart of Our People Services Team
At Coastland College, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
We are investing in our people, culture and capability to create an exceptional place to work, learn and grow. We believe that by supporting our colleagues to thrive, we can inspire excellence in every learner, strengthen our communities and help shape a confident, resilient and future-ready Dorset.
We are looking for enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused People Administrator to join our growing People Team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, supportive and forward-thinking People Team at a time of significant investment and positive change.

No two days will be the same. One day you could be supporting recruitment activity and onboarding new colleagues, while the next you could be coordinating training, preparing employment documentation, updating workforce records or supporting compliance and safeguarding processes.
Designed to offer flexibility and variety, this role will provide opportunities to develop skills and experience across all areas of the People function. Depending on business need, you may support recruitment, people operations, learning and development, compliance or wider People Team initiatives.

- Support learning and development activities, training administration and CPD programmes.
- Assist with safeguarding and compliance processes, maintaining accurate and audit-ready records.
- Support workforce reporting, audits and quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to People Team projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work flexibly across different areas of the People function to support business priorities and service delivery.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

- Enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships with others.
- Has previous administrative experience and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and a positive approach to problem solving.
- Shares our values and commitment to supporting colleagues and learners.
Experience within HR, recruitment, employee administration, learning and development or People Services would be advantageous. However, just as important is a positive attitude, strong organisational skills and a genuine passion for helping people.
