This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of Automotive studies from foundation to Level 3, supporting both Further Education and Employer Services. We are looking for a dynamic lecturer who brings a strong foundation of industry experience and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of Automotive Technicians.
About the Role
As a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle Studies, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality practical and theoretical instruction to a diverse range of learners. You will play a key role in preparing students for industry placements and future employment, while also supporting the development of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and industry-relevant lessons aligned with the Automotive curriculum.
- Supporting learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge.
- Preparing and maintaining classroom & workshop environments, equipment, and resources.
- Collaborating with colleagues and employers to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.
Who We’re Looking For?
Whether you're an experienced educator or a qualified Automotive industrial professional looking to transition into teaching, we welcome your application. If you're coming "off the tools," we will provide full training and fund your teaching and assessing qualifications.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician.
An additional skills allowance may be offered on top of the basic salary for the successful candidate, depending on their experience and expertise.
