About the role

The LiveWell Dorset mission: To protect and improve the health and wellbeing of the population of Dorset. To reduce health inequalities, increase healthy life expectancy and contribute to the efficient and sustainable use of local health care resources.

The service has attracted national attention as a novel and innovative approach to helping people change their behaviours and live healthier lives. Support is delivered at scale and is designed to meet the needs of those people and communities who will benefit most. We support individuals to become more active, drink less, stop smoking and maintain a healthy weight and system partners to embrace their role in preventing ill-health.

  • You understand that we need to communicate with different people in different ways and can connect with a variety of audiences.

The role:

  • Support the creation of content for in-house and national campaigns
  • Design and produce marketing materials for sharing: eg: posters, flyers
  • Help develop and implementing our communications plan
  • Create and manage website content
  • Data analysis and reporting, understand and respond to new information
  • Uploading and scheduling social media posts
  • Maintaining and updating our resource library
  • Edit and design newsletters
  • Work with teams and partners to ensure they have promotional resources they need

Further Information

This is a fixed term contract ending on March 31st 2028. It is a part time role at 22.2 hours per week.
 
We are happy to support flexible working and are open to hybrid hours with ideally a minimum one day per week at County Hall in Dorchester.
