  • Represent Dorset Council at panels and multi-agency meetings
  • Participate in outreach work and occasional out-of-hours service

About You

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in housing services or a registered provider
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation and homelessness prevention
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
  • Commitment to customer service and continuous professional development

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • Understanding of welfare benefits, housing legislation and equal opportunity legislation
  • Ability to travel across the county as required

Why Join Us?

At Dorset Council, we value respect, responsibility, recognition, and collaboration. You’ll be part of a supportive team working to make a lasting impact in our communities.
