Environmental Health Office (EHO) - Work Experience Placement (Food, Safety and Port Health)

Please note: This particular opportunity is open to secondary school students for a 1 week work placement.

 Location: Dorset Council, Hanhams House, Wimborne Minster

 As an EHO, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at how we keep our community safe and healthy. You'll work on various tasks, from helping with inspections to learning about how we ensure that premises serve safe food.  Key responsibilities:

• Investigations & Inspections: Assist with service requests, inspections, and monitoring activities across different environmental areas
• Customer Focus: Learn how to provide advice and assistance to the public and other stakeholders
• Enforcement Actions: Observe how we carry out enforcement actions to ensure public safety.
• Collaboration: Work alongside our team and other organizations to achieve our goals
