- we are looking for someone who loves working outdoors and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty
- you should be comfortable with lifting and moving things around
- it would be great if you like talking to people and helping to solve problems
- don't worry if you haven't done this before, as long as you're ready to learn and work as part of a team
- to be considered for this post you must hold a minimum Category C driving licence, have a current digital tachograph card and evidence of a completed Drivers CPC qualification is essential
You will:
- be required to undertake duties in relation to the collection and disposal of waste/recycling materials. You must be prepared to work in all weather conditions, make early starts and be able to work flexible hours.
- you must be able to take and give instructions and have good communication skills as you will be responsible for your crew members and dealing with members of the public on a regular basis.
- this is a physically demanding job, and the successful candidate will be expected to cover all aspects of the Drivers role including vehicle checks, using Digital Tachographs and all appropriate paperwork. Knowledge and understanding of Drivers Hours regulations will be advantageous.

You will work 37 hours per week on a rota basis, to cover early mornings, some weekends and bank holidays. With the opportunity to work overtime available.
The post holder will be responsible for the PPE as supplied.
