About the role

The Home First Occupational Therapy Team are expanding to meet the increased need to support hospital discharges, and active recovery and reablement packages, and are looking to recruit to two new full-time posts for experienced practitioners in Occupational Therapy.

The roles involve working closely with our partners in health and community services to develop strong connections to influence individual health and care outcomes.

The OT team is an integral part of the Home First Social Care team and covers all areas of the county, with each member of the OT team having links with all three area clusters.

  • have a degree in social work/Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the post

The key skills recruitment and retention scheme applied to these positions, subject to eligibility. The amount payable will be £2000 (pro-rata for part time positions) after 24 months of employment.

A generous relocation package is payable, of which up to £8,000 (of HMRC eligible elements) are free of tax. We can offer you help to move whether you are looking to buy or rent, depending on your circumstances.

  • an initial advance of up to £2,500 payable when you start
